As a Strategic Solutions Manager at Arrive, you will assume a sales role that works to develop capacity solutions between our top carrier partners and the highest volume customers in our network. You will take ownership of the carrier and regional zone development strategies for targeted partners, and will collaborate with Carrier Sales, Customer Sales, and Operations to ensure exceptional service and execution.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with pricing team and carrier sales floor to develop sales strategy for a specific region of the country. Execute communication/marketing plan to educate sales floor on the capacity strengths & weaknesses of the business.
  • Develop and manage relationships with high-level decision makers at targeted carrier partners.
  • Unlock, catalog, and manage strategic lane data for target carrier partners.
  • Implement capacity solutions using strategic lane data for high volume business awards for customers in Arrive’s network.
  • Obtain commitments from carriers to execute year round business awards.
  • Negotiate year round rates for contractual business awards, as well as new business opportunities.
  • Work in partnership with the Director of Dedicated Solutions on best practices and efficiency improvement for the Dedicated Solutions Team.
  • Collaborate with Carrier Sales, Customer Sales, and Enterprise Operations groups in order to efficiently execute business awards.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study.
  • 3+ years of previous experience in Carrier Sales at a 3PL, or similar experience in Transportation/Logistics industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to negotiate pricing and capacity commitments for large business awards.
  • Able to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other team members to achieve results.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
