Who We Want 

Our explosive growth is your opportunity to accelerate your engineering career in a high-impact role on our development team. Being passionate about building great tech is a must, as is being comfortable working both hyper-collaboratively and independently. You qualify for this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of software engineering or other closely related experience.
  • 2+ years of mentoring and collaborating experience.
  • Experience working alongside and collaborating closely with various teams and departments within a technology organization (Product, Design, Data, DevOps, QA).
  • Experience leading and working alongside a team, other senior engineers, and leadership to guide best practices.
  • Experience working with Java/Kotlin and SQL Server.
  • Experience with Microservice/SOA architectures.
  • A passion for test coverage as a core principle.
  • A deep interest in developing and mentoring other engineers.

What You’ll Do 

This senior-level role is a great opportunity to leverage your skills and experience to not only strengthen our existing tech suite but also to dream up and build entirely new proprietary products that can take it to the next level. Your day-to-day job duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Building microservices using modern methodologies and tech stacks.
  • Working closely with your team to choose the best languages, libraries and frameworks for the task at hand.
  • Operating both autonomously and collaboratively to produce the highest quality products. 
  • Collaborating with engineers outside your team to broaden your knowledge and deepen your relationships and impact through guilds, “hack weeks,” pull requests, design sessions and tech reviews.
  • Investing in your personal and team-wide technical development through collaborative technical deep dives.
  • Collaborating creatively with product and design teams.
  • Cultivating a strong sense of culture within your team.
