Workday Integrations Engineer

What You’ll Do

  • Hands-on Design, Build and Deployment of Workday Integrations including Studio, Connectors, Payroll Integrations, EIB outbounds, custom reports, configuration in Workday business processes, calculated fields, Security Alerts and Notifications.
  • Supporting our internal business stakeholders through the Jira support intake channel, identifying and resolving issues, and providing premier support experience.
  • Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, develop plans to mitigate and avoid future system issues.
  • Design and Develop new reports requests that come in via the support queue in Jira
  • Ownership of both Quality and RUN responsibilities pertaining to HR projects
  • Troubleshoot and fix production issues and help prioritize against existing backlog based on severity and impact
  • Monitor scheduled integrations and develop automated management processes
  • Be able to provide backup support in the absence of an HRIS Analyst


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors, PECI connectors
  • 4+ year’s experience with Workday’s configurable security, Core HCM Business Processes, Alerts and Notifications framework
  • Experienced with Workday SOAP API, REST API, and Import API patterns
  • Expert knowledge in developing Workday custom reports and calculated fields
  • Familiarity with Workday release management and change control processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to independently build Workday Integration required
  • Workday HCM certification is a plus
