Arrive Logistics is excited to announce that Chief People Officer Chelsea Woodhead and Senior Vice President of Strategic Partners Darlene Wolf have been recognized for their leadership and accomplishments in the logistics industry.

Women In Trucking 2021 Top Women To Watch

Both Chelsea Woodhead and Darlene Wolf are included on Women In Trucking’s 2021 Top Women To Watch in Transportation list. This award recognizes top performers who go the extra mile to support other women and help to improve gender equality – at their own companies and/or industry-wide.

Since joining the company in May 2017, Chelsea has transformed Arrive’s People Operations Department, building a sustainable internal organization that meets and exceeds the needs of Arrive employees. Chelsea embodies a “people-first” approach to her work, which has been on display during her regular COVID-19 internal communications since last March. Her empathy, consideration of team members’ different backgrounds and home lives, and dedication to transparent communication helped Arrive navigate the turbulence of the past year.

Chelsea is also a fierce advocate for women and her teams reflect that. Among the more than 80 people she oversees, the majority of leadership positions are held by women, many of whom were hired in the last 18 months. Chelsea maintains an open-door policy and prioritizes coaching and mentoring junior staff within the company.

“Chelsea has been an amazing business partner since joining Arrive. She is extremely passionate about our family here at Arrive and ensures she is putting the people first in the decisions we make at the executive level,” said Matt Pyatt, CEO of Arrive. “As a leader she is extremely hands on and has helped build an amazing culture of transparency and trust.”

With more than 30 years of experience, Darlene has established herself as a seasoned, trusted advisor in the transportation business. She constantly strives to use her influence as an executive to empower and inspire other women in the industry. Through her experience working in logistics, Darlene has learned that while you cannot change other people, you can listen to and influence them. As a tenured professional in the industry, she is committed to authentically appreciating people, being an active listener and offering counsel, especially to people early in their careers.

The Women In Trucking Association is a non-profit organization with a mission to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments and minimize obstacles faced by women in the industry.
