ADDIE KILBRIDE – AUBURN UNIVERSITY 2017
Where did you go to school?
I attended Auburn University where I graduated with degrees in both marketing and supply chain management in May of 2017.
How did you first hear about Arrive?
I heard about Arrive through Mia Wren, who is a carrier manager here and a high-school friend of mine. I told her that I was coming to Chicago to take another job, but she convinced me to take a look at Arrive first. During my visit, I felt like there was a very warm and welcoming environment where everyone encouraged and helped each other. It’s what made me decide to take the job.
What keeps you here?
For me it comes down to two factors: the potential for growth and success and being able to go into work every day and enjoy the people I’m around. That’s two areas where Arrive’s workplace culture excels. There’s a lot of potential with this job and you’re always surrounded by that surrounded by people who are always willing to help you succeed. The environment is very fun and competitive. I love coming to this job every day because it doesn’t feel like work. The relationships I have here I’ve built great relationships with my team here at Arrive which definitely makes it more enjoyable
Have any advice for soon to be college grads?
Find somewhere to work that’s fun and enjoyable so it doesn’t feel like you’re just going through the motions of a 9-to-5 job every day. Make sure that you enjoy the industry and the job that you’re going into. That way it won’t feel like work and you’ll love it so much more. It’s also important to make sure that you build positive relationships with the people you work with. Those relationships can have a big impact on how you feel about your job.
