Where did you go to school?
I went to Miami University in Oxford, OH. I started out as a biology pre-med major but switched to civic and regional development after two years.
How did you first hear about Arrive?
I knew the September career fair was coming up, so I started researching the companies that would be there and Arrive showed up and I thought it looked cool. When I got to the fair, I found the Arrive booth where I met Kari and the next thing I knew I was prepping for my first interview. From there I was offered a site visit at the Chicago office. I was able to shadow several reps while I was there. The people were great and the hustle in the office was contagious. When I was offered the job, I accepted immediately.
What keeps you here?
My one-year anniversary will be on July 16th. I think the variety of customers and people you can talk to on a day-to-day basis is part of what keeps me here. Arrive’s culture and work environment is also a huge benefit. Everybody here is grinding every day working towards the same goals and the potential of this job is amazing.
Have any advice for soon to be college grads?
Enjoy college while you’re still there. People get so caught up in figuring out their next steps that they forget to enjoy the experience. It’s still important to think about your future, but you have to be able to find a balance between the two. For this job, be ready to grind and put in work. It is a challenge working so hard on a daily basis but the reward is great and the people make it so much fun.
