Where did you go to school?
I went to school at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ (BEAR DOWN!!!) I received my degree in Agribusiness Economics & Management with minors in both Spanish and Business Administration. I kept myself sane throughout school by playing intramural soccer as well as in a co-ed soccer league on the weekends.
How did you find Arrive?
I was working at a winery in Fredericksburg, TX and decided I wanted change and to pursue a career that was both fun and challenging. Although the winery was an interesting job, it was very slow paced. As I was updating my LinkedIn profile one day after work, I stumbled upon the Arrive job posting. After reading about the company and realizing that Arrive was a brokerage, I knew that I needed to submit my application because of my previous experience in the trucking industry. My family owns a brokerage in Nogales, AZ and I worked there in high school. I already had a general understanding of what the job entailed before I applied and it only made sense to pursue a career in something I was familiar with. Once I interviewed, the culture drew me in even more; I knew I was going to fit right in.
What is your favorite thing about Arrive?
The reward. Times get rough and things can get really stressful, but one small win can turn an entire day of negativity around. My job is very enjoyable – I get to call people and make friends all day long and the relationships I build lead to more business.
Have any advice for prospective arrive candidates?
Be ready to grind, the money is real and it’s there, you just have to work for it. If you are driven and competitive, this is the place for you.
