Where did you go to school?
I attended the University of North Texas where I majored in integrative studies with a focus in political science, psychology and sociology. I graduated in December of 2018.
How did you first hear about Arrive?
I had an interest in logistics so I spoke to my buddy, Josh Carrasco, who was working for Arrive already. He told me about the company and his own experience working here. Once I started interviewing and learning more about the company, Arrive became a top choice of mine. I was very excited when I received my offer from them.
What keeps you here?
What keeps me at Arrive is the culture and fast-paced environment. I find that I’m never bored when I’m here. A lot of jobs become monotonous, doing the same thing day-in and day-out. With this job there’s something new and different each day and I find that really exciting; I like the fact that it’s not too repetitive. When you face those new challenges, stick to it and work hard, it really shows. You’re rewarded for your dedication here.
Have any advice for soon to be college grads?
Have a general idea of what you’re looking for when you begin your job search. Ask a lot of questions and gather as much information as possible about the job you’re applying for. You’re interviewing them as much as they’re interviewing you. It’s ok to take your time and figure out what you want to do instead of feeling like you have to jump into a job immediately.
