Arrive Logistics is excited to announce that we have been named a 2021 Top 3PL & Cold Storage Provider by Food Logistics Magazine. This annual list recognizes leading third-party logistics and cold storage providers in the food and beverage industry.
In 2020, Arrive launched Arrive Fresh, a centralized, experienced team that sources quality fresh capacity and works alongside carriers to offer asset-like service to solve the distinctive challenges of moving produce, meat, seafood, dairy and nursery freight. This team provides an extremely unique and valuable service in our industry, building on years of experience and expertise to address the common challenges faced by farmers, retailers and fresh food suppliers. We made a long-term investment into this team, representative of our dedication to listening to and understanding what customers need. Since launching, the Arrive Fresh team has grown at a rapid pace, doubling our team headcount and increasing our temperature-controlled load volume by 58% and overall business by 93% year over year.
“Not all freight should be treated the same and that’s why we cultivated an experienced team that’s equipped to solve the evolving challenges of food transportation through innovative offerings like our reefer drop trailer program,” said Tony Hammonds, Executive Vice President of Arrive Fresh. “Ongoing disruptions in the industry mean that demands on food transportation will only intensify and the Arrive Fresh team is excited to continue helping our partners navigate the complexities of their businesses.”
Arrive executes refrigerated drop-and-hook projects for high-volume produce shippers, a strategy that is unheard of in the perishable food world. This reefer drop trailer strategy has unlocked the biggest efficiency gains for our shipper partners that have freight that is time consuming to load and unload. Through this strategy, Arrive manages many of the complexities of moving sensitive freight that often makes these shipments relatively unattractive to carriers.
Our customer obsession campaign focuses on understanding our customers’ needs at the next level and ensuring we are offering the solutions their commodities demand. For the Fresh team, this means reviewing mode diversity and maximizing capacity offerings to drive temperature-controlled services. By the end of 2022, we expect to see an increase of 120% in our temperature-controlled business.
