Today Arrive Logistics announced that they will finish out 2019 with a revenue of $550 million, marking another year of immense growth and a revenue increase of 48% year-over-year. In a changing market brought on by excess capacity, consumer delivery demand, digitalization, global trade and technology innovation, CEO Matt Pyatt attributes Arrive’s momentum to being a “People First” organization. The company’s investment in a highly-trained and ambitious workforce allows them to provide best-in-class service to their customers and carriers.

Arrive’s total loads shipped has increased by 70% year-over-year (400,000 annual loads moved in 2019). The company projects that they’ll be nearing the billion-dollar mark by the end of 2020 by maintaining their investment in high-caliber people and by continuing to provide tailored solutions that keep customers and carriers on track to meet business goals in a dynamic marketplace.

“Throughout 2019, we have placed a significant focus on innovating the way people work in order to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the logistics industry,” said Chelsea Woodhead, Chief People Officer. “Because we invest heavily into recruitment, development and career pathing, we’ve been able to build a workforce with a passion for relationship building and a metrics-driven, problem-solving mindset.”

Arrive also recently announced its new Strategic Accounts Department, a team of in-house, senior-level industry experts to act as consultants on behalf of customers and carriers. “The addition of these new team members marks a turning point in Arrive’s timeline as the company becomes increasingly tenured,” said Matt Pyatt, CEO of Arrive. “These are individuals tasked with handling high-level, strategic discussions with shipper and carrier partners and will work closely with them to tailor solutions specific to their needs, industry and challenges.”

This year the company added Chief Financial Officer, Richard Shields; Executive Vice President of Product, Michael Senftleber; and Executive Vice President of Strategy, Tim King. With an average of 20-years of experience leading high-growth companies while providing international operational experience, vision and leadership, the three new executives contribute cultivated industry expertise as they move into the next stage of growth.

Arrive added 433 employees company-wide for a headcount growth of 75% in 2019, bringing the total to over 1,000 employees across Arrive’s three offices [Austin, Chicago and Chattanooga, TN]. In addition to the new Austin headquarters, the Chicago office doubled its square footage and the Chattanooga office expanded its presence in ‘freight alley.’ Arrive also focused on amplifying its operational infrastructure, with an emphasis on service for customers and carriers through significant investments in building a best-in-class, centralized operations team lead by Scott Sandager, Executive Vice President of Operations.

  • Arrive received significant recognition in 2019, garnering the following accolades for their growth and culture:

  • Fast 50 Central Texas (2nd year in a row)
  • Transport Topics Top Freight Brokerage (3rd year in a row)
  • EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 Finalist (2nd year in a row)

In 2020 Arrive will make their largest investment in technology yet, doubling the size of their product development teams for their in-house technology company. Additionally, the company will continue to grow Arrive Fresh, a specialized department focused on the nuances of moving time-sensitive freight. They’ll also invest in expanding their industry-leading training and development program to ensure every member of the Arrive team is equipped with the tools and knowledge to excel in any market.
