Two Austin-based businesses — one in logistics and one in sales consulting — are getting some national love for their employee-friendly cultures.
Arrive Logistics Inc. and OpenSymmetry LLC were both included on Inc. magazine’s annual “Best Workplaces” list. Ten Texas businesses made the cut. Go here to see the full ranking.
Arrive Logistics is a third-party logistics broker, connecting businesses that need to deliver products with freight companies. Founded in 2014, it has more than 200 employees in Austin and Chicago and annual revenue of $50 million to $100 million. The company, which provides extensive training for new employees to prepare them for the industry, said it has a 94 percent retention rate for workers.
OpenSymmetry is a sales performance management consulting firm. The company received the same honor from Inc. last year. OpenSymmetry was founded in 2004 and falls into the Inc. ranking category of companies with annual revenue of $20 million to $50 million.
Aside from recognizing businesses that value their employees, these “top workplaces” lists are usually chock full of business intelligence — for managers, human resources execs and CEOs looking for ways to attract and retain top talent, as well as for job-seekers interested in the companies investing in their workers.
