This award recognizes influential individuals in the industry whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain.
AUSTIN, TX—March 25, 2024 — Food Logistics recently announced its 2024 Rockstars of the Supply Chain award winners, which include three Arrive Logistics leaders. This year’s winners include Darlene Wolf in the Lifetime Achievement category, along with Trent Wilson and Mitchell Mazzaro in the Rising Star category. The award recognizes logistics professionals whose impact has helped drive the success of their organization and its transportation partners in navigating the global cold food supply chain.
“We are thrilled to see our leaders acknowledged for their exceptional efforts and unwavering commitment to driving our company and industry forward,” said Jason Zwirkoski, Chief Revenue Officer of Arrive Logistics. “Darlene, Trent and Mitch, personify Arrive’s mission, ‘We Deliver, So You Can,’ by delivering outstanding service while mentoring the next generation of industry leaders at Arrive.”
With over thirty years of food industry supply chain management experience, Darlene Wolf has been an integral member of the Arrive team since 2019.
Her extensive background overseeing transportation for prominent organizations like Kellogg’s and Dairy Farmers of America has equipped her with a unique, shipper-focused perspective that greatly strengthens our Strategic Partnerships team. This group of industry veterans consults and supports Arrive’s shipping partners.
Darlene’s impact at Arrive extends beyond her role; she fosters partnerships and mentors Arrive’s emerging talent. Her dedication and experience have propelled Arrive’s growth and enriched the professional development of its team members.
Trent Wilson began his logistics career in 2011. He joined Arrive in 2016 as our first Carrier Manager, initially running a team of 13. He now helps oversee a department of roughly 400.
In his current role as Vice President of Carrier Sales, Trent’s deep industry knowledge, unparalleled work ethic and innovative strategies for supporting carriers have significantly expanded our temp-controlled services and strengthened carrier relationships, both of which significantly contribute to service awards from enterprise customers, such U.S. Foods and Domino’s.
Additionally, Trent has been critical in developing new team members at Arrive. Through his leadership, he continues to play an essential role in our company culture and business success.
Since 2009, Enterprise Partnership Representative Mitchell Mazzaro has dedicated his career to solving the complex challenges of enterprise food and beverage industry shippers. He joined Arrive in 2016 and has since leveraged his deep understanding of the nuanced requirements for transporting produce, seafood, dairy, meat and other highly perishable products to deliver consistent value for our customers, carriers and employees. Mitchell is also a three-time recipient of the Rockstars of the Supply Chain award.
Mitchell’s commitment to providing shippers with reliable temp controlled capacity and strategic solutions like our drop trailer program has helped fuel Arrive’s growth. And in addition to his innovative individual contributions, Mitchell builds and leads winning teams that are relentlessly focused on the success of Arrive’s food and beverage industry shippers.
“Supply chain rock stars are the backbone of the cold food chain. The words used to describe many of this year’s winners range from collaborative, passionate, innovative and forward-thinking to inspired, driven and dependable,” says Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “New this year, we broke the award down into four distinct categories: Top Warehousing Stars; Top Shippers; Rising Stars; and Lifetime Achievement. These winners continue to go above and beyond to improve food safety, enhance efficiency and disrupt supply chain disruptions.”
