Tony Hammonds, Executive Vice President of Arrive Fresh, has been named one of Food Logistics’ 2021 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain, which recognizes influential individuals in the industry whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain.
With more than 15 years of experience, Tony has held many different positions at Arrive. He played a pivotal role in launching Arrive Fresh, which, under his leadership, continues to help provide sensitive freight shippers with an innovative, tailored approach to service.
Tony and his team work alongside carriers to provide asset-like service to solve the unique challenges of moving produce, meat, seafood, dairy and nursery freight. Arrive Fresh addresses the common challenges faced by farmers, retailers and fresh food suppliers by providing customers with an expert team that understands the intricacies of their complex freight and delivers solutions tailored to their specific product.
“As a leader, Tony is a lively, warm person who is always willing to lend a hand,” said Jason Zwirkoski, Chief Revenue Officer at Arrive. “No matter how impossible the problem, he is the first person to volunteer to dig into the situation to find a solution.”
